Miss Wiregrass Area


Miss Wiregrass Area is an official Miss Alabama/America preliminary. It is open to young women ages 17 to 24 who live, work at least 40 hours per week, or go to school full-time in the 334 phone exchange area.
A contestant must be at least a senior in high school (will graduate by June). She must be at least 17 years old by the date of the pageant and cannot be more than 24 years old on December 31, 2010. She must have lived in the eligibility area at least 6 months by the date of the pageant.


Miss Wiregrass Area Outstanding Teen


Teen contestants must be 13 years of age by November 22, 2008 and at least in the eighth grade and no more than 17 years of age and a junior in high school. They must not turn 18 before August 31, 2010. (17-year-olds who are seniors are eligible for the Miss pageant.) They must live or go to school in the 334 phone exchange area.
